Senior social housing

The Prince Albert Housing Authority manages 425 housing units designated for low-income adults who are 60+ and persons with disabilities who are able to live independently.

Approved applicants are placed according to greatest need and availability of units. Where possible, PAHA does their best to place the applicant in their preferred location. PAHA has one and two bedroom suites. Two bedroom suites are offered to couples or two adults sharing accommodation. Some of our units are wheelchair accessible.

Rents are calculated based on a household's combined gross monthly income. Rent is 30% of adjusted household income. Adjusted income refers to the exclusion of government benefits such as Seniors Income Plan.

Recipients of Income Assistance Programs (SAP, SAID, TEA, PTA) pay a fixed rent as determined by the Tier in their community.
